Good Fundraising Ideas/Tips?

I'm 14 1/2 years old (15 in October) and have to raise 4000 USD by next June to go to Hong Kong for 6 weeks in the summer. Right now I'm thinking about having a Garage Sale in the summer/spring with my family and putting some stuff I don't use/need up for sale. I'm also a fairly good alto sax player, and so I'm thinking about playing and then having people donate Do you think I could reserve a spot at Giant Eagle and play there for a little while? Any other tips and ideas would be extremely appreciated. Thank you sooo much! <3 Also, do you know anywhere that will hire a 15 yr old for a job after school? ^^

You could try things like dog walking, music lessons, BBQ etc.

One thing that might help you out a bit is scratch cards. Each card raises $115. You hand the cards to a donor, they scratch the dot which reveals a donation amount, in return they get a coupon for a local restaurant. You can get them with just motivational quotes instead, depends on what you pick for a card. You can combine this with any other fundraising idea you've got going easily.

There's always chocolate bars. They still work and bring in a lot of money.
