Metal baritone sax mouthpiece?
I've been playing bari sax for 6 years, and I've always used a hard rubber mouthpiece (a Meyer 5M). I want to give metal mouthpieces a try, but I don't know much about them. What's a good quality metal mouthpiece for an advanced student to get? I mostly play swing with my school big band, but I play in combos occasionally.
If you are new to metal mouthpieces, I would recommend an Otto Link super tone master. I think the size I used was 7*. I haven't gotten to experiment with bari sax mouthpieces as much as I have on the other saxes so I am not sure how some of the other mouthpieces play on bari.
