Can anybody describe 'In the Mood' in musical terms?

I have to describe it for my appraisal, but I can't think how to start it off. Can anybody help me describe it? So far I have:
For my performance, I played ‘In the Mood’ which was popularized by Glenn Miller and one of the best known arrangements of the big band era. The music is written in F major and is arranged for three saxophones.

It is an upbeat swing song that was very popular, one of the most well known, during the big band era.

The song was composed by Joe Garland and Andy Razaf, but arranged by Glenn Miller. (made famous by him)

Also, I believe that he is right in saying that it was written in Ab. I think that you are looking at your music, im assuming an alto sax part, so you see that it is F. If you were to look at the tenor part, it would appear to be in Bb.

When saying what key the music was written in, you need to say it in the concert key. For this song, the music should be written in Ab major.
