What Brass instrument should I learn?
I am interested in learning a brass instrument purely for the purposes of having the ability to audition to get into a Drum and Bugle Corp. I play the Flute, Piccolo, and Saxophone now and was wondering what marching brass instrument might be good for me. I was thinking Mellophone, but would also be interested in the least competitive brass instrument for Drum and Bugle Corp’s

its more physical, but you dont have to learn a whole new instrument,
but if your heart is set on music, id say trumpet. there are some pretty cool sounding trumpet solos in DCI. i just love it. =]
