Does anyone know good Tenor Saxophone manufacturers?
I am a 7 year tenor sax player, and I've built up the equity needed to own the sax now with the company I've been renting from.
I now have the opportunity to chose a brand new saxophone, but I'm really not sure what companies are making the best tenors.
Any advice?
Well it does depend what kind of music you are playing. Classical and Jazz I would look into either Selmer or Yahmaha. If you do mostly jazz or rock I would suggest looking into a selmer mark vi or vii. They are old vintage horns but are the best in the business. Make sure you play it before you buy it though.
