Alto Saxophone Neck Piece...?
The cork on my saxophone neck piece is coming apart. Would I have to replace it, or is there a better solution? And if I do end up replacing it, about how much would it cost?
Yes, replace it immediately. The only solutions are either gluing it yourself (VERY BAD idea) or taping it back together (not a great idea either). Just take it to the music store and get it fixed.. Most technicians will replace cork for $20 or less (usually $10 or less) and usually do it real fast, if not while you wait.
