Who finds people calling Bill Clinton "The first black president" really annoying?
I mean, seriously, because he likes sex and he can play the saxophone he's black? Black people DO like him because of his policies, but it really ties my stomach up when he is referred to as an "honorary black person." I find it demeaning and just plain annoying.
I do, it never made any sense, and I believe the phrase was first coined as a literary allusion by a writer, Toni Morrison.
