Student Alto Saxophone Help?
I am a junior in a small high school band. I am looking for a new intermediate level saxophone. I currently have a Yamaha YAS-23 and it is in decent condition. I got it used and i have used it for about two years. It has some spots where the lacquer has been rubbed off and the inside of the saxophone isn't looking too good. I have to get the pads replaced already and i was wondering what kind of saxophone i should look into getting or should i just fix up my current one. I have a very tight budget so it couldn't be over $500. My current sax plays fine but i would like i nicer looking one. So my main question would be should i get a new sax or should i fix my current one and if i keep my current how could i make it look better, and if i get a new one what is a cheap well made sax?
This was put in the wrong section and i'm trying to change it.
There's no need to purchase a new sax.To play it better,just put down the ducky.
