New Alto Saxophone??
What is the best kind and brand of an alto saxophone I can buy, I recently have a Selmer and its kind of crappy and I need a New one..And also can you tell me if this kind of alto saxophone would be good? http://usa.yamaha.com/products/musical-instruments/winds/sax/altosax/yas-875exw/?mode=model
well, generally selmers are good saxes, as are some conns, cannonballs, and of course yamahas. it all just depends on personal preferences, and what works best for you. right now i have two yamahas, which both work great, and i also have a german engeneering brand sax, which even though they arent a mainstream brand, it works great too. as for the link you gave, its hard to tell how the sax would work. its never a good idea to buy an instrument online. you should always go to a store and ask to try it out before buying.
