Is there a risk in playing guitar in central park?
I play guitar and sing. I'm 17 and live in connecticut and i like taking the train to new york city and I see musicians play saxophone, guitar, and other instruments in the park. I've played in the park before with my friend's mom with me and i made 60 bucks in an hour! I would like to do it again but this time i wouldn't have an adult with me, just another 17 year old girl.
Is there any kind of safety risk in doing this? Is this a bad idea?
I usually play near the upper east and west sides, kinda close to the Dakota or hunter college.
I think that's pretty safe, just be careful, stay near police.
