curved soprano saxophone?
i got a curved soprano and sometimes when i play notes like C,A,B,G (with out the octave) they don't come out...why?
Most likely the problem is a leak in a pad or a key out of alignment and not closing properly. You should have a repair technician check it.
Edit: It is not necessarily just the G# key - it could be any key in the left hand stack of keys around the notes that won't play. More over if it doesn't refuse to play all the time then there is the possibility that you have a pad that is loose or a key that only sticks every now and then. Check pads, keys and springs to make sure all are in place and working correctly. Oil the keywork so it is all moving smoothly.Also make sure your reed and mouthpiece are working together properly so that it is not a tone production problem. Good luck.
