What to do with old broken saxophones?
While going through my school's instrument storage room I found a few broken tenor saxophones. As far as I am concerned, the saxophones are unplayable and would be very costly to repair, and both are rather old and smelly. Is there an internet company or somewhere we could sell them for scrap? If not, is there anyway to make some money off them at all?
Here are some ideas that I've come up with;
1) Metal recycling place-- simply inquire about selling them as scrap metal.
2) Decoration-- I've seen über cool wall décor and lamps made from unplayable instruments. You simply clean them gently (inquire to someone on how) and then use 'em.
